Two NGO workshops of five-days each
For NGO and PLHAs networks (with journalists)

Training spokespersons in advocacy through print, radio and television

Identifying appropriate spokespersons for print, radio and television
- Defining the identity of each media (print, radio, television)
- Developing skills to tell stories and raise issues for each medium
- Practical exercises
- Analysis of exercises and perceptions about each medium

Two Radio training workshops of 10 days each
For radio programmers
(with representatives of PLHA networks as resource persons)
12 persons in each workshop (Total 24)
Depending on the need-assessment developed after the first executive briefing, the thrust will be on one of the following
- News stories
- Talk shows
- DJ shows
During one ten day workshop, programmers will be:
- sensitised to nuance building, precision and accurateness of HIV / AIDS messaging
- exposed to international expertise in technical aspects of radio programming
- produce stories (complete process from idea development to the final edited radio programme)
